Truss and Starmer, United in their Contempt for Scotland

September 28, 2022

It has been interesting to observe the Labour Party's conference in Liverpool, as they demonstrate that the party now exists in name only – singing God Save the King instead of The Red Flag, this party whose leader banned its MPs from joining picket lines has expressed contempt for Scotland and declared it will not work with the SNP...

Good. Any cooperation between the SNP and the Labour Party would be poisonous to Scotland. At the next general election, which will likely be soon, England will elect Sir Keir Starmer as Prime Minister, and Scotland will vote SNP and Green. And when, as usual, we get what England decides, we must demonstrate, with our actions as well as our words, that our votes for independence-supporting parties mean that we have voted for independence.
